Effortless Manifestation: Working with the Divine Feminine

The elements teach us that there are two types of manifestation. It is possible to create things using the driving force of fiery masculine energy. In a different way, we can attract what we desire using the inviting force of watery feminine energy. Both are equally powerful. It is helpful for the balance of life that we utilize both methods.

In the world today, we can see an abundance of examples of masculine manifestations from both men and women. This type of creative process follows the story that if you work hard and push things along, you will earn a certain amount of money or have a particular type of body. That is perfect for practicing personal discipline and feeling empowered.

As one continues with manifesting a project or life vision, there comes a point when they do not have sufficient energy to keep pushing it along with their sole drive. The manifestation requires more energy than the individual can muster. At this phase, the person has two options. The first is to keep trying to control and push everything along.

Choosing the first option can oftentimes lead to burnout and various stress-related disorders. The mind is convinced that it can continue with what has worked in the past. The body, however, struggles to manage the pressure. Messages and signs from the body can start to arise, such as pain or trouble sleeping.

As your manifestations grow, you also have a second option, which is to surrender into a receptive state. When you choose to work with feminine energy to manifest, it is about embodying what you desire and then letting it come to you. No chasing or pushing is required, it is simply about being and believing.

Transitioning from a masculine to a feminine approach is a journey. Using feminine energy to attract your desires requires trust in the mystery of life. If a person is hyper-reliant on their masculine energy this change can be terrifying. It is akin to walking around in the dark after being in the light of the shining sun.

When we orchestrate things with logic and fulfill them through will, it is possible to see a clear cause and effect. Our society uses this methodology to create many things. However, solely creating in this way results in imbalances. A perfect example is how we are working with nature for the harvesting of foods and other natural materials.

The masculine mindset works with a singular focus, in this example, the goal is to grow food. This does not take into consideration the cyclical aspect of life. Plowing fields and planting seeds works for some time but ultimately the earth becomes depleted and we see a variety of issues arising such as pests from the damage to overall biodiversity.

On the other hand, when we use a feminine approach of listening to nature, equal amounts of abundance can be harvested, just not in lines in a field. A feminine way of manifesting food comes more from listening to the land and foraging for food. In this example, no one needed to sow seeds or tend crops, but food is still available.  It is provided by the natural cycles of life in the forests and oceans.

During my journey of working with the elements, I had a methodology at the beginning of working hard each day writing and meeting with clients. This was a fantastic period of my work with this medicine.

I reached a point however when it stopped working which was one of the most challenging periods of my career. The methods that I had used before to support and grow this work simply did not work anymore. Over the space of six months, I tried everything I could to keep pushing the project forward but the accounts were drying up and I was running out of ideas.

It was hard to see at the time but life was teaching me to make the shift from manifesting from my masculine to using my feminine power. Due to my ancestral history of masculine women, this felt like a significant learning curve! Trust life? Embody what I desire before I have it? These ideas seemed like a different world to the controlling methods I had become accustomed to.

I continued following the signs and invitations from the universe. During the years of this transition, I was working more and more consistently with the medicine of Ayahuasca. This plant medicine is often known as the mother due to the spirit of the plant having a powerful feminine presence.

It was through various ceremonies with this plant medicine that I was able to question my beliefs about having to work so hard for everything in life. This initiated my journey of strengthening my feminine manifestation muscles to create a balanced power to my masculine. By making this shift, I experienced changes on all levels of my life.

The things that I had been pushing incredibly hard for for years at that stage simply arrived in my life with little to no effort. I felt supported, cared for, and divinely guided. This experience provided a new perspective on what manifestation is. It felt like for my whole life I had been looking at half the picture.

There can be tough decisions and negative self-talk when we experience problems with manifesting with masculine force. Instead of believing the thoughts that something is wrong, we have an opportunity in those moments to reflect and notice if there is simply a redirection happening. Possibly a new way of being is now available to you.

Furthermore, the lack of progress with the masculine approach can even be a sign of progression with what you are creating. The manifestation needs more energy than what you can provide, this means that it is growing. It is not a roadblock, but rather a big leap of faith into the next chapter.

If you are feeling the call to strengthen your feminine manifestation powers, here are some steps that you can take:

  1. Take a pause from what you are manifesting; this could be a day, a week, or even a year!

  2. Be conscious of the media you consume (movies, social media, etc.)

  3. Take care of your body, mind, and spirit

  4. Listen to your heart as well as your mind

  5. Ask for a sign from the universe
