Step into the medicine of the Colombian jungle for an eight-day immersion into ancestral wisdom and deep spiritual renewal. In collaboration with Ocoyai Indigenous Reserve, this retreat is guided by Taita Mayor Javier Lucitante, the highest authority of the Cofán Indigenous community of Santa Rosa de Sucumbíos. Together with the Ocoyai team, we invite you into a sacred environment where the mountains, rivers, and ancient words come together to support your healing.
Throughout the week, you’ll move through a profound process of purification, energetic realignment, and connection to living medicine — through yagé ceremonies, plant baths, teachings around the fire, meditations in nature, and moments of silence that open the heart.
This retreat is an invitation to remember where you come from, release what no longer serves you, and reconnect with your true essence in a space held with respect, integrity, and deep reverence for the land.

The Call of the Mountain
A Journey with the Mamos of the Sierra Nevada
January 5–10, 2026
Ubaté, Cundinamarca, Colombia
This gathering was born from an ancient call — a voice from the mountains inviting us to unite the wisdom of the Sierra Nevada with the teachings of the Amazon in one sacred circle. Over five days, we will walk between the cool air of the Andes and the warmth of the sacred fire, guided by the Mamos, guardians of the Earth’s balance and keepers of ancestral knowledge.
Throughout this journey, we will explore profound teachings on nature, spirit, and the origins of life. The Mamos will share their wisdom around birth and midwifery — the sacred art of welcoming life and caring for the soul from its first breath. Through these teachings, we remember that life itself is medicine, and that everything born — a child, a plant, a purpose — must be nurtured, honored, and offered back to the Earth with gratitude.
This is not a retreat in the traditional sense. It is a return — a return to origin, to silence, to the inner place where the spirit feels at home. A space to listen to the voice of the mountain and allow life to bloom again within us.
